Clinic and hospital application systems read plain text far better than designed templates, and licence details are the last thing you want a parser to drop.
What clinic directors look for
Licence and credentials first. DPT or MPT, NPTE status, the states you are licensed in, and any compact privileges. Then BLS and specialty certifications.
Setting, plainly stated. Outpatient orthopaedic, inpatient rehab, acute care, skilled nursing, home health, paediatrics and sports are different practices with different skills. Recruiters screen for setting match before anything else.
Caseload and productivity. Patients per day, evaluations per week, productivity percentage met. Clinics run on these numbers and hiring managers read them as a direct proxy for readiness.

What weakens a PT résumé
Generic treatment lists. Therapeutic exercise and manual therapy appear on every PT résumé. Outcomes do not — functional gains, return-to-sport rates, length-of-stay reduction, patient-reported outcome measures.
No productivity or caseload figures. Outpatient clinics in particular hire on these, and their absence reads as inexperience.
Ignoring documentation and reimbursement. Coding accuracy, denials avoided and audit performance are real skills that clinic managers value highly and few candidates mention.
Omitting supervision experience. Directing PTAs, aides and students is a step toward lead and clinic-director roles; say how many and for how long.
